Who founded Espressoverse?
Hey there! My name is Ivan Brozincevic and with me is my amazing wife Ilona Brozincevic. Welcome to Espressoverse.com!
About ten years ago, while I was still in college, I started a student job in one of the local coffee shops. You know the story. I was broke, I needed cash, and coffee shops were hiring.
Little did I know that on the first day on the job, I will fall in love with the big old Nuova Simonelli espresso machine.
It was literally love at first sight. But to be honest, the very first cup of espresso I made using that machine was awful.
On the bright side, I was aware of it, and so I decided to become the best at preparing a first-class cup of espresso.
Not so surprisingly, the espresso turned into a latte soon, then into a cappuccino, and macchiato, and when I made my first almond milk chai later, I knew I came a long way in this game.
And so, this job turned into a passion. I fell in love not only with the taste of espresso but also, with the process of preparing it.
Over the years, my passion for coffee stayed with me. Still today, I can’t start my day without a nice cup of joe, which is why we created this website.
As for Ilona, she shares the same story. She too was working as a barista while working on her degree in Financial Mathematics. That’s actually one of the things that brought us together.
Today, we both like to test new espresso gear, taste new espresso blends, and share our findings with you to help you create the best espresso experience in your home.
